Winner from last Waifu poll, Chel from Road to El Dorado!
I'm running into an issue where just the disney/cartoon girls get most votes because of recognition bias and I'd prefer not to make this a cartoon channel. I'll have to make some genre specific polls again. But here it wasn't a big issue because I loved drawing Chel and adding delicious meat onto her already meaty frame.

How many polls have you run? I mean, I've been looking forward to some fat Disney Princesses from you for forever, lol. I'd love to see more! But CHELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL- so glorious! So bronzed! You do anime girls so much I almost ever only see you do Caucasian skin-tones, so this is WONDERFUL brown flab!

2023-07-27 22:55:35 +0000 UTCOne possible way, if you're gonna draw the top 2 usually of a poll, would be to separate polls by "popular, mainstream, commonly drawn fat" characters and more niche picks, then only taking the top one of each poll (patrons still only submitting one character a month). The problem being it involves the extra work of dividing up the characters yourself and potentially making some people say their character should count towards one or the other poll and not getting a fair shot... but then again everyone lumped into one big poll is already a long shot for getting drawn anyway.

Just a thought either way I'm sure all of us here will still cherish and love your art since it's that good.

Seeing most polls nowadays devolve into “literally the most recognizable character always wins” is a bit disheartening, but there’s not really a lot you can do about it

2023-07-27 11:25:03 +0000 UTCI feel like it’s a case of you probably having more patreons that are into anime than western stuff, like maybe a 70/30 split, but since there’s normally only 1/2 western suggestions, all the western fans flock to those two, where as all the anime fans are split out between like 15 different suggestions. Multivote somewhat mitigates this, but probably not enough to the desired effect I’m not really a big fan of western fats myself but you manage to make it work most of the time, your anime-esque artstyle probably being a big factor
