What's the hottest way to refer to a fat tummy?
Added 2022-09-10 07:45:47 +0000 UTC
I find this interesting as a non-native english speaker since in Finnish I might find the more 'clinical' terms hotter. Something about the rigid professional language is hot to me since it's lacking that element of playfulness of the normal words that might imply that it's not so serious that your belly is a ball of fat.
What do you think?

As a writer, I should mention that these terms can be less attractive if overused in a sentence! You want to use a variety of words. I prefer more obscure words like paunch because I write at a college level, but for general audiences, you'd use most of these words in sequence, so you didn't write in a stale manner. Paunch might even be excluded because it's a rarely used word! That's important because most English readers do so at a high school level or lower. They don't know fancy words.

2022-09-10 22:23:21 +0000 UTCif it's following an adjective (big, round, fat, etc) then belly, but on its own then gut

2022-09-10 20:15:00 +0000 UTC"Gut" is more insulting, I think it also has an association with being larger. "Belly" or "Tummy are more cutesy terms. All can be good if used in the right context, depending on what feeling you want to convey.

2022-09-10 18:40:37 +0000 UTCIt's not the noun, it's the adjectives that make something hot imo. For example, a "tight round belly" for someone who has just eaten a lot.

2022-09-10 17:46:38 +0000 UTCI love a lot of different terms but for me there’s just something about referring to a cute fat tummy as a “piggy belly” I can’t really say I love a term a lot more than other ones though Certain adjectives make it suuuuuper hot too “Doughy,” “squishy,” “soft,” “bouncy,” “round,” etc. There’s pretty much no bad way to talk about a big belly :3

2022-09-10 13:53:28 +0000 UTCAs a native English speaker, I’m also a fan of full phrases to describe fat. I find that it carries more weight than other terms which can be bandied about frequently

2022-09-10 13:47:06 +0000 UTC"Gut" is especially fun to use when you want to be a bit more aggressive/playfully rough about it, but "belly" just feels so soft and round when you say it.

2022-09-10 12:10:22 +0000 UTCTo me, it’s the variety that makes it hot. Call it belly, gut, muffin top, tummy, stomach, waist, paunch, and then throw adjectives on top of that and you’ve got thousands of fat descriptors.

2022-09-10 12:02:58 +0000 UTCWhen I write I try to differentiate between the "tummy" as the actual stomach and the "belly" as the, I dunno, the fleshy ball we can all see. Interspersed with "midriff" and "gut", and occasionally "paunch". As a whole phrase, "soft, squishy belly" would be my pick for the "hottest way to refer to a fat middle".

2022-09-10 10:56:10 +0000 UTCPaunch would also technically work, but it's just a bit too awkward to say sexily for me. It's like trying to say the word bubble in a serious way; can't be done!

2022-09-10 10:31:59 +0000 UTCAgreed! People using derogatory terms in sexual context is very common for a reason. I think for me the more insulting or degrading it is the better.

2022-09-10 10:20:06 +0000 UTCFavorite sexy term is fat gut. I'm my mind, using traditionally derogatory terms to describe the object of your attraction with confidence encourages your partner to take a perverse pride in their "conventionally unattractive" body. As in: I'm going to grope and smother my face in your fat tits and fat gut and I'm going to love every second of it. As a bonus, my favorite playful term is big ol' tummy (or tum-tum).

2022-09-10 10:18:58 +0000 UTCAs a non-native English speaker myself, I think the "distance" makes all the terms sound less embarrassing/shameful than they would in danish, if that makes sense That said, I think the hottest specific term you've ever used is "tanker of a belly" somewhere in NLB

2022-09-10 08:09:28 +0000 UTCThe "hottest" way to refer to a belly is the one that fits the narrative the most. A doctor referring to an over-bloated gut as "fat abdomen" is going to sound way hotter "fat tummy", it has some pzazz to it. Or some dom figure referring to the embarrassed sub's belly as "paunchy" has some juicy teasing undertones to it, compared to just calling it "fat tummy".
Taihen
2022-09-10 07:59:24 +0000 UTCSame honestly, tummy sounds more like something you'd say to a child. Belly and stomach is very neutral. Gut and paunch sounds more derogatory. Abdomen is more clinical and honestly more often refers to lower belly specifically. I think they all have their place depending on what idea, personality or atmosphere you want to convey. There's no correct answer.
Taihen
2022-09-10 07:54:49 +0000 UTCGut in non-kink terms, can be used for some pretty non-attractive people in the UK. But when in kink context a stuffed belly getting so much bigger it starts to get referee to as a bloated gut? That’s the good stuff 🔥
Theonewun
2022-09-10 07:54:46 +0000 UTCIs that poll intended for native English speakers only? Also in French I think none of the words referring to a belly sound hot to me. A few words related to fat and corpulence do, but "ventre", "bedaine", "bide" definitively don't.
Phatelot
2022-09-10 07:54:36 +0000 UTCI voted fat belly, but I think "Big belly" rolls off the tongue more easily in English.
