Sheet Pan Chipotle Chicken Sausage

A while back, I did another sheet pan recipe using a different flavor chicken sausage, and everybody really seemed to enjoy it. Not just because of the taste, but because of how easy these types of recipes are.

I saw this Chipotle & Monterey Jack Cheese Chicken Sausage and thought sounded really tasty. I did get them from Walmart, so I'm hoping they are easy to find for most.

With that being said, I know some of you may not be able to find them, or just might not want to use them. If that is the case, be sure to check the last page of the PDF for an easy swap to regular chopped chicken.

Also, before you try this recipe, beware that it's a little tangy from the use of the lemon and lime juice. If that concerns you you can use half of the recommended amount and add more after the cooking process if you want to. But I think the mix of heat from the chipotle and the acidity of the lemon and lime juice go well.

And just like all of the other sheet pan recipes, the vegetables are very interchangeable. So if you want to swap the zucchini and squash out for something else, feel free.

I think next week's Patreon exclusive recipe is going to be the Nashville Hot Chicken Strips! We are going to try this one tonight. We couldn't find the chicken sausage that you had in the recipe but we did find a different flavor of chicken sausage.

Chicken apple sausage is the ONLY availability we have in my area so I subbed turkey smoked sausage and sprinkled on McCormick chipotle & roasted garlic seasoning on it. Just making dessert to make up for calories and lost πŸ˜… Calories-80 Fat- 6g Carbs-5g Protein-8g

Hi. How many servings does this recipe make?

Just out of curiosity, why did you boil the potatoes first? If it's gotta be in the oven for 45 min, I would think that would be plenty of time to cook them fully as well?

I was already planning on making the Marry Me Chicken tonight and saw this. I guess I know what I’m having for lunch today! Bonus, I already have some chicken sausage and all the veggies I need for this! Well, swapping out some veggies, but still. :) Thank you, I love these recipes!!

Is this hot/spicy?

I'm going to be cooking this today. I'm excited for the next two on the list and will probably cook them when my son comes home for Easter!

They don’t sell the sausage in my area . What would be a good substitute ?

Can these meals be kept in the freezer? I’m meal prepping for the week and just wanna know if I can freeze em!!
