MTM Diamond Slack Rules
Be kind. This group is founded on the basis of personal respect and inclusiveness. We love that our members come from a diverse range of backgrounds and that everyone treats each other with kindness and respect.
Please do not post unsolicited referrals. See the #referrals channels for more guidance on this.
MTM Diamond is not to be used for commercial purposes. We feel this rule helps to create a culture of community. Channels like #trading-post are designed to provide value and allow members to trade, however channels are not to be used for business/commercial purposes. Using any channel for commercial purposes will result in you being removed from the group.
MTM Diamond channels cannot be used to solicit others to share subscriptions, etc.
Personal transactions/trades with other members are done independent of MTM and MTM Diamond and we urge you to use caution.
Harassment of other members is not permitted in public channels or DMs.
We value discretion and want to make people comfortable with sharing in the group. Please do not share info from the MTM Diamond Slack or another Diamond member’s data points outside of the group.
MTM Diamond Slack Norms
We encourage thoughtful questions and want you to ask them. Don’t ever be afraid to ask a question in this group! We do request you do some research, within and outside MTM Diamond content, prior to posting to see if it has been covered before.
The best way to permanently save useful Slack content is to simply copy it and send it to yourself. Slack messages to yourself don’t disappear.
If you ask a question which is subsequently answered, don’t delete your original post. Leaving it can help another member later on who has the same question.
Ensure you’re only responding to a post within the thread. This helps to keep the group tidy, making it easier to find things. We all occasionally forget this, so don’t feel bad if we give you a gentle reminder. Benjy has to remind Shawn all of the time!
We welcome channel ideas and other feedback! Please send your input to Benjy and Shawn via DM.
