Changing some of the later goals
Added 2017-10-06 00:57:16 +0000 UTCI'm pleased to announce that we've surpassed our $400 goal! AimlessArt is going to be working on the sprites for Kat and Samantha. Once he's done, those will be added to both the standard and premium versions of Night Games.
Thanks to the tremendous increase in support we're seeing surrounding the release of the Premium version, we've had to take some time to reassess upcoming goals.
The $750 goal was about Team Strip Match, which I've stopped working on due to its lack of interest. It doesn't make sense to have a goal for a dead game, so I don't think anyone will mind me removing that.
The $1000 goal is a much bigger deal. That was the frequently requested addition of a female playable character to Night Games. From a mechanical standpoint, this is fine. The combat system can easily accommodate a female player character. However, all the art and writing assumes the player is male. When I first created the Patreon, I could see rewriting every scene with the help of a few extra writers. However, at this point I don't think it's feasible to convert all the art and writing without stopping all development for more than a year.
Therefore, I have removed the $750 and $1000 goals. If you're disappointed about this, I understand and apologize. We'll be adding additional goals to replace them after we've had some time to discuss them.
