The Girl in the Fire Place. S2E04. Clockwork robots on the SS Madame de Pompadour spaceship, is the tie in reference. Yes, Peter Capaldi is Scottish, as is David Tennant. So the NuWho Doctor actors have gone English, Scottish, English and now Scottish again. All the actors who have played the Doctor up until this point have been either English or Scottish.
