The Doctor told Clara about her being The Impossible Girl, but then reset time with the big friendly button, and for Clara it never happened. My guess would be that because of The Doctor's experience with the perception of time after staring into the Untempered Schism during his child training to become a Timelord. He might retain memories from previous timeliness. Regardless, Clara is still the same mystery to him that she's always been.
