This ranks very highly as one of my favourite finales of all time, never a dull moment and so many great scenes. This was written when they were unsure whether they would be picked up for a sixth season, a common predicament for AoS, which is why the episode is entitled The End and the fact that there is no tag scene. And ofc why they killed of Coulson! Your confusion over the whole Fitz situation is understandable, the Fitz that died is the one that came back from the Future where the Earth had been quaked apart but, since that never happened the Fitz that was in cryofreeze is still en route to the future in Enoch's spaceship. So it is technically possible to find him, hence Jemma packing a suitcase and Daisy thanking Coulson for the spaceship! A couple of fun facts for this episode: If you go back to the first shot of the first episode, it is of a picture on Enoch's fridge depicting 2 people on a beach surrounded by palm trees, and the compare it with the last shot of the finale with Coulson and May standing on a beach in Tahiti. It's almost like the writers knew what they were doing! When Jemma is packing her suitcase the photo that she puts in there is the same one that they took in the second episode of the show. There is also, apparently, a monkey statue already in there as Fitz (and Iain) love monkeys. Great reaction and cannot wait for season six!
