Ranch Tuna Pasta Salad

*TikTok Recipe*

This is an early access post for all of you amazing Patreon supporters! This will post tomorrow at 9pm EST.

It's been a while since I posted a recipe that doesn't require reheating. I know a lot of you struggle with this due to your job or time constraints. So hopefully this recipe is helpful.

I mentioned this on the notes page of the PDF, but I'll say it here.....this recipe is extremely versatile. This means that you can swap out any veggies you may not like or even make this into a ranch chicken pasta salad by cooking some chicken and dicing it up.

Just like all of my other meal preps, I hope that you are learning as you go and making changes to fit your specific dietary needs to make your journey more sustainable.

Ranch Tuna Pasta Salad

So, I’ve never been the craziest about ranch. I’m curious if using the powdered Italian seasoning, would make it like a creamy Italian dressing. Italian is one of my favorite for pasta salad and maybe it would be better with chicken but I’m just curious how that swap would go for the base.

This is so freaking good!!!

Any pasta will work. The protein pasta has 10g of protein per serving, most others have 6-7g but the calories still remain about 190 per serving. The protein pasta box says it has 7 servings per box so just find a pasta that has about the same servings. I tend to buy whichever pasta is on sale, but I do like the protein pasta.

I do live in Florida! Pensacola, to be exact and I can not find the Barilla rotini (protein) at any Wal-Mart. I have also checked Winn Dixie. I looked at the Publix in Perdido Key but Nope! I will check Publix online, thank you! I did try this recipe with the other pasta and I did not like it. I do not think it was strictly the pasta's fault, this just did not sit well with my palate. All the other recipes I have tried from Zach's patreon have been delish!

Walmart used to have the protein rotini and then they stopped selling it for some reason at least the Walmart's near me. I am not sure if you live in Florida but I was able to find them at Publix ! (:

I can not find the Barilla protein rotini, only the penne. I did find the rotini in the Barilla veggie pasta line- it has 8g of protein instead of 10. Has anyone tried these, will they work in this recipe? Thanks in advance!

mine was really dry too but still tasted good

I liked the flavor but mine was very dry. I followed the measurements so not sure

Does this freeze well? How long will it last in the fridge?

This is so good! Easy and delicious!

Almost everyone in my house loved it! I will have to dice the onion smaller and cut back on the crushed red pepper a bit to tame the heat a little for some people.

I’m a newbie here and just getting started with some of Zachs recipes…When I typed all ingredients to my Lose It app it only comes out to 249 calories….any ideas why….

Any Canadians know where to,buy Brailla protein pasta

Made this, subbed Applewood smoked chicken pouches. SO good! I can't wait to try variations! I think I may try using some zucchini, cucumber and peppperoncini with Italian dressing mix to make a creamy Italian version!

20 oz before draining. So 4 of 5 oz cans.

Is it 20oz of tuna after being drained? Or is it 20oz of tuna and then you drain it?

I just finally made this, and it was one of the most filling recipes I've tried so far!!!
