The 1978 Spider-Woman comics have some of Jessica Drew's best perils ever. She was gassed, tied up and gagged in multiple issues. Her chair-tie cover in issue #6 is considered a damsel-in-distress classic.
It's kind of surprising then, that I've never drawn Jessica Drew's Spider-Woman before.
Well, I'm finally giving Spider-Woman the sleepy peril treatment. For her debut, she's shown unconscious after being chloroformed, with her mask being peeled away. The two villains standing above her are Brother Grimm and Hangman. These two villains show up early in the Spider-Woman comics, with Hangman notably keeping her bound and gagged.
Enjoy!
