Great reaction! It's only the first death of a Slayer that creates a new one, I guess the magic that created them never thought they would ever come back after a fight with a demon so they just assumed the dead slayer was done.

Even though you made the mistake of watching the Angel finale first, still your reaction to this was intense ๐ฅบ A few fun facts: this is not only the season finale but also the 100th episode. So itโs pretty special and also, when they aired this episode, they started it with a sort of recap of the show up to this point, with a clip of EVERY single episode. The next seasons aired on the UPN network (WB and UPN later merged to create the CW we have today), but Angel remained on the WB. Also: Joss Whedon did intend for Anya to die in this episode, during that collapsing debris scene. But because Emma Caulfield didnโt stay still he then decided to let her character survive, lol Finally: in the last scene with Buffyโs grave, you might not have noticed but they buried her under a willow tree......๐ฅบ๐๐ญ itโs like Willow is always watching over her....

I love how into the show you are and how strong your emotions are also. This was the first ep that brought a tear to my eye and that was because Spike was crying. That got to me. And by the way, I know you said you thought that was the first time you saw Spike cry. He's has cried a number of times, by the last one I can remember was during Fool For Love, after Buffy threw the money at him. So, was that one of the best finales you have ever seen or what? :) Looking forward to your S6 reactions!
