Magik and Jean Grey Chloroformed

This was an idea presented to me by a Superfan. I love Jean Grey's classic green Marvel Girl outfit, and drew her getting chloroformed by Mystique earlier this year. This is my first time drawing Magik.
I chose a pose that has become sort of a staple in my art now: the kneeling double chloro. I modified it so that the cloth is being removed from Jean Grey's mouth - I like seeing the full sleepy face!
I think it's a pretty cool piece - enjoy!
Update (9/17/2021) - adding coloring progress. The background is based on some Emma Frost artwork I used as a reference.

A nice touch is having her out cold, and the cloth close but off her face, while Magik is still getting her dose of the sleepy stuff. Good start SC, and look forward to seeing this finished.
