Supergirl and Power Girl Peril
Added 2021-07-13 13:41:20 +0000 UTCI'm continuing to exercise my bondage kink a bit more this month, with a piece featuring our favorite Kryptonian superheroines! Supergirl and Power Girl find themselves as "damsels in distress", captured by someone using Kryptonite chains. I made sure to highlight their weakened states. Supergirl is just barely awake, while Power Girl seems to have fainted completely.
Side note: is Power Girl actually weak to Kryptonite radiation? I did some searching, and it seems she might be immune to certain types of Kryptonite. Maybe a comic fan can answer this for me!

I think Power Girl is also affected by Kryptonite. I have seen red kryptonite, but the red kryptonite either alters the brain to become evil (Melissa Benoist episode) or alters something else in Supergirl (as seen in some fanfiction).

As to your Kryptonite question...while her origin has been messed with due to Crisis on Infinite Earths and all that, basically Power Girl is the Supergirl of Earth-2. So, I believe the idea was Kryptonite can affect her, but it had to be Earth-2 Kryptonite. Now, later on I think this was tweaked, cuz there's at least one comic I can recall in the Post-Crisis era, where Kryptonite was weakening her, and no sign it was any kind of alternate reality exotic Kryptonite. Which in turn makes sense to me. Kryptonite is radiation and what does it matter if Earth-2 PG is exposed to K-radiation from Earth-1 or Earth-2? If that's different, then shouldn't other stuff be different too? Like the energy from the yellow suns or red suns in affecting her? Sorry to go all nerdy detailed there but my thoughts on the matter LOL Great work on the art, loving this piece!
