Rulah the Jungle Goddess Peril
Added 2021-05-19 18:57:16 +0000 UTCI have a soft spot for those Golden Age jungle girl comics. It seemed like every cover featured a bikini-clad girl in some sort of peril.
This piece was inspired by those peril covers. The damsel in distress is Rulah, and she's been knocked out and bound to a log. She's being pushed into a river by a jungle priestess. The composition of the piece is forcing me to draw more natural backgrounds than usual. I do like how this one is panning out!
