November 2020 Completed Pieces

First up is this gorgeous Kingdom Hearts themed piece, featuring Aqua getting captured by Maleficent. When the idea was first presented to me, I considered a bunch of different pose ideas. I had to somehow fit both Aqua and Maleficent in the same frame, while still prominently featuring Aqua getting knocked out with magic. Compositions where Aqua was on the ground were difficult to pull off, so I came up with the idea to have her floating in the air in a magic bubble of sorts.
Update 11/7/2020: Adding the Tifa Lockhart completed piece.
Update 11/12/2020: Adding the Korra piece. Another drawing where I focused on trying some different lighting effects. By having it take place in a dark room, lit only by a window, it sets the mood so well.
Update 11/15/2020: Wonder Woman vs. Formicida uploaded.
Update 11/18/2020: Sheena Queen of the jungle uploaded.

Love your analysis. The lighting effects are something new you’ll be seeing in my art. I often try to find different settings that allow me to play with light like this.

Like the all business sneer of the bad guy. Sort of a nice contrast to someone being pleased to KO such a pretty lady. He's all like, 'shut up, suck it in Jungle Queen.' Excellent work.
