Nier Automata - Completed

The Nier Automata piece is now finished. Overall, this was quite a challenging piece to draw. Getting the 2B's skirt right took a lot of tries. The pattern on her chest took me a while, and I still don't think it's right. I like how 2B's hair and facial expression turned out. If I can get side profiles to look this nice, I'll do them more often.
I like how the background turned out. It's subtle and gives the drawing that feeling of being in an industrial setting. Backgrounds are so important, that I'll be challenging myself to draw them into every piece.
2018 was a great year:
- I set a goal of drawing 20 pieces. Last I counted, I had about 39 pieces of art drawn.
- I produced some really good art. I saw huge leaps in improvement.
- I drew several comic pages.
- I started a Patreon page, and I'm very satisfied with the support so far.
- I somehow ended up as the admin for AVGDID.
- I launched Sleepy Clips , and posted over 700 clips already.
- Sleepycomics.com meanwhile is in its 12th year of continuous operation!
- I started engaging with more people on Discord.
In terms of art, I'd like to see the following happen in 2019:
- Improve artistic composition and storytelling
- Get better at drawing background art. The challenge is to draw a background for every piece.
- Get at least 30 pieces of art drawn. I know if I am motivated, I'll surpass this easily.
- Learn to give artwork that extra level of detail and polish, that can take it to the next level.
