No Quarter - Led Zeppelin

Comments

preach.

Joshua Arquitt

My favorite Zeppelin LP

Ty Parten

Ten Years Gone

Aerilon

I Think it's an S, but that's just because I melt into my seat and get visions of Vikings trudging through a blizzard every time I hear it. I guess I could see how it could be an A+, if you're wanting a little more drive or hard hitting solos. Of course, rating a song like that the first time you hear it can be a little dependent on how you are feeling at the time too.

Mitchell Barker

Ten Years Gone. please listen to this one and show us your reaction. Led Zeppelin is my favorite band of all time and this is my favorite song of theirs. On headphones, Jimmy's guitar, incredible.

Laura Wolpert

That groove.

Fidoz

Nothing like listening to this with headphones in a dark room

Ed Brewer

Um, I was slightly less cogent for a fair portion of the time.

Chris Hyde

The thing is... you guys are exacly where we were int he 70s... crazy

MattO

You never can recall the 70s feeling ever again....

MattO

Ten Years Gone!

Dariel Bay

I agree with Allen J, Kashmir is Led Zep at their best.

spiro goritz

Kashmir might be considered one of the greatest rock songs of all time! Must listen!

The Wick

A couple of my favorites are Boogie With Stu and Kashmir

Allan Juhl

Great album. This is probably my least favorite song on it. But still very good.

Rob Hanna

It's pretty much blasphemy to 'judge' Led Zeppelin. It's like trying to judge The Beatles. It's just bad form.

Just some dude

That whole Houses of the Holy album is incredible. My favorite. Just a teeny hair above ZEP IV.

Trevor Scupholm

There is such a beautiful distinction between "old" Zep and "new" Zep. Them being a band that's always being accused of plagiarism with their bluesy bangers to being a band that redefines boundaries. I love both schools of Zep, but I lean towards the later albums I think

Dick van Beek

Trampled Under Foot for a good time Zep style

Lauren Vaughn

We need Kashmir. Blackdog! Has anyone ever done a check to see how many references to the Lord of the Rings things are in LZ songs?

Zen Frog

Kashmir is a must.

Mark Burgess

omg i just searched your YT archives and you haven't done "kashmir" yet

Kim Vidas Davey-Irvin

Ten Years Gone

Tina Reggie

this is the perfect description

brent snavely

There's a premonition of post-rock and shoegaze in the main body of this song. Sonorous, soaring, droning with the long drawn out buildups. Great stuff.

Jack Jesberger

Yes, or at least they should start rock-jumping across their catalog's variations like they've done with other bands like Steely Dan or Doobie Brothers.

Jack Jesberger

This is like if you took a strong hit of acid and were in Game of Thrones and then snorted some coke and set your sword on fire. Just saying.

phil Stone

Ok, this is a real good one guys. They are my favorite band and I’ve been listening to them since before you were born. Fool in the Rain is a really representative song for them in that stage of their career. It’s got some cool ass Jimmy Page style you’ve never heard before. I think this is the only song he does it in. Still, a killer cool Rock song.

phil Stone

Ok, here’s the deal on ZEPPELIN. You can pick ANY song off ANY album and it’s going to be good period. Not just my opinion, It’s objective truth.

phil Stone

I hope you guys have already listened to the Tool version! Theirs is live btw

Christine Sixteen

I agree, but how can they tell if they are improvising unless they are familiar with the studio version first?

David Carriker

First time comment here; I am a HUGE fan of your concept and your young analytical minds. In my opinion, you guys “get” this style of music like no one else. What freaks me out is you guys are usually spot-on with only 1 listen. Okay enough gushing; I would love to hear your thoughts on Black Country Woman off of Physical Graffiti. It is another”unexpected” style of Zeppelin song and a reminder of how much a difference Bonham made.

Richard Bizdikian

Need to do more Live Led.. missing so much of there ability to improvise..

roger keeton

Ten Years Gone

Ed Hoppe

Led Zeppelin... The Rain Song and Ten Years Gone

Michael Stabile

You have to do "Over the Hills and Far Away". Great acoustic intro.

Cl8on

Since I Been Loving You is totally awesome song and would love to see it on Patreon. Bonham's bass drum is baller on that track.

Eric Mitchler

Do something from Led Zep 3. Gallows Pole maybe. Got to keep the LZ train a rollin for Andy. 👍

Erik Harrison

99% of Led Zeppelins music are bangers. But.... Since I’ve Been Loving You The Song Remains The Same The Rain Song In The Evening Trampled Underfoot Custard Pie

Dean

I’m with Tim Backster. “The Wanton Song” is one Hell of a PUNCHY GROOVE! Bonham cranked up to 11!!! And you MUST hear the studio version of “Since I’ve been Lovin’ You” on Led Zeppelin III. And while you’re at it might as well let “Out On The Tiles” play right after. A bit weird at first hear but it’s a total f’n banger!!!

Aerilon

Please react to "The Wanton Song" by LZ. It's a banger! I could have pick many others but this will do nicely!!! Failing that....Alex, you MUST 'expose' Andy to "Since I've Been Loving' You" (the audio version)!!! and if you guys WISH to SEE how this is done,...Watch this OUTSTANDING cover of the guitar solo afterwards, it IS ALMOST NOTE FOR NOTE PERFECT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dMrE9pyupQ

Tim Backster

The live version from MSG '73 is the ONLY version. Way way way better than the studio version. The bands improvised jazz fusion jam in that version is my absolute favorite of theirs and I genuinely believe its one of the best guitar solo's ever recorded.

Darius Rafei

Have ya'll listened to Ten Years Gone? It's easily their best song

Alex Jayne

Since I’ve Been Loving You is a must listen and is one of the best songs by Led Zeppelin and possibly of all time.

Tyler

In The Light is another song that is very different, but I'm still requesting for Andy to hear Since I've Been Loving You.

Ginger Hadley

Gentleman if you haven't watched the movie "The Song Remains The Same" recorded live at Madison Square Garden in NYC in '73....You are doing yourselves a great injustice....thank me later.... Peace ✌️

Ray Enrico

Over the hills and far away. Even if it's only the intro. Then" Bring it on home" from Led Zeppelin 2

Ray Enrico

"In the Light" similar sort of feel & production...

James Warren

The Rain Song

Chipperooo

The*

JDP11

Sincerely though, you guys are missing out big time here. If you thought the 1973 live version of Stairway to Heaven kicked your asses, wait until you watch No Quarter from that same concert. Its probably the greatest live version of any song by any band. Im not even being hyperbolic. You guys have to react to it. Just remember to do some research and watch the right version!! Feel free to DM me and i can send you think link

JDP11

1973 LIVE VERSION!!!

JDP11

The live version of this song from "The song remains the same', is much better

Chris Willey

Should have done the live version of this

Josh

Led Zeppelin III is by far their best album from start to finish. IV gets all the love but you guys need to check it out. Especially if you like acoustic guitar. This was Led Zeppelin Unplugged before there was Unplugged.

Riggo 82

when it said cold and it had that crazy echo effect they knew the drugs kicked in lol faces say it all.

Rick Bonifacio

This entire album. Impeccable. Reggae ("D'yer Mak'er" , pronounced like Jamaica lol and also British slang "Did ya make her?") which gave Bonham fits, "Over the Hills and Far Away" could be the best rock song ever written! "The Song Remains the Same" an epic! Even some James Brownian funk ("The Crunge"). There is nothing to disappoint on this album!

Gary King

you guys need to see the 1968 danish tv video of them....un be liev a ble !!!!!!!

Tom Hall

Stick with this album. Over the Hills and Far Away. Its a journey. It has it all, acoustic, electric, soft and screeching vocals, it just encapsules everything about Zep.

Phil the Crab

Next full album should be either Rolling Stones - Exile on Main Street or Bob Dylan - Blonde on Blonde. You’ve not done nearly enough of these two and they both rank in stature with The Beatles. They deserve full album reactions!

Dan Hartzog

Do this whole album

Alex

For the next zep track Battle of Evermore if you haven't done that one yet.

Craig Chadwick

Listen to “When the Levee Breaks” Bonham at his best

Tim Deneau

Fool in the rain, Nobody’s Fault but Mine, 10 years gone, How many more times

philip labossiere

Tend My Garden - James Gang

Marc McCune

Going to California

Brian Gallacher

In the Light off of their best album Physical Graffiti.

Dale DeLarm

To my mind the spiritual descendant of Led Zeppelin is Jack White. Dig in.

Brad J. Murray

CELEBRATION DAY LIVE IS EVEN BETTER!!!

Lucy Forrester

yes.....thick as a brick....Jethro Tull!!!

Lucy Forrester

hey joe jimmy hendrix live

Justin Anderson

Dazed and confused live 1969

Justin Anderson

Please give a listn to IN THE EVENING, total head banger :))

Richard Collette

I had forgotten how proggy this track is. I need to dust off my vinyl copy and give the whole album a spin for old times' sake.

Craig Chadwick

Not one of my favorite Zeppelin songs but I understand why people love it. Cool though

DioRules

Do the whole album!! Or Going To California :)

Keegan

I was there as well. i think there are youtube videos of it. At least the parts I remember!

joebelow

Great underappreciated Zeppelin song. I always loved this one. So mysterious sounding. As far as what you do next, I say go to yet another completely different side of Zeppelin and do "Trampled Under Foot".

Metem

My first concert. Led Zeppelin in Seattle at the Kingdome 1977. What a show!! I was so damned stoned!! Great memories.

Mark Wessel

One of my favorites from Led Zeppelin. This was a good album.

Gary Millard

Great song!!

Rosie McDonnell

Music was not as easy to access back then and I didn't want to miss a minute of it

Jazz Sauce

when I was in early HS, a Detroit radio station played the entire Zeppelin collection from A to Z

Jazz Sauce

Guys do the whole of Physical Graffiti you'll love it

Duncan

I have listened to this song hundreds of times........is this a remixed version?????????

Fred Meekins

Love this whole album!

Terraka Jones

A great example of a Led Zeppelin song that's totally original. No one can accuse them of stealing this from any blues artist.

Tony Whitaker

Growing up in San Antonio you just were a huge Zeppelin fan. This is still by far my favorite Zeppelin song. Haven't heard it in a minute or two and after listening to this I can't figure out why . I'm also a huge Beatles fan, so the engineering and production work on this got my attention immediately. It's just it was so different from the rest of Zeppelin's catalog and it was kind of pushing the boundaries of what was being done at the time especially in Rock. Alex is right, this whole album every song is a little different from the others. It's kind of like the Beatles' Revolver, lots of musical differences but it all flows together seamlessly. maybe Houses of the Holy should be the next full album review you do. As usual great review gentlemen, keep them coming and make them snappy.

Scott Hartung

If you wanna show Andy something REALLY different, show him "Hot Dog" from In Through the Out Door.

Cl8on

I think their final album (no, Coda doesn't count...not a proper album) In Through The Out Door is Zeppelin's most criminally underrated album besides Presence. It just boggles the imagination at how many musical directions the band could have explored if Bonham hadn't died when he did. I think Carouselambra and Fool In The Rain are review worthy gems!

Pete Miller

you gotta do the whole leftoverture album!!!! also, thick as a brick by jethro tull

Ariel Eskenazi

It's time to do the Album- Songs from The Woods by Jethro Tull.

Karen S

What a great analogy- If Led Zep And Pink Floyd had a baby.

Karen S

I think you should review this whole album - it's my favorite Led Zep album!

MikeCarr

That’s right, Lisa! You can see from those nasty guitar sounds and cadence that Tool would do a bang up job of covering this. And they do! Check it out...

Evelyn

Soooooo, since there are so many different and cool songs on this album, Alex, why not do a total album reaction?

Evelyn

Slow blues beauty. "Since I've Been Loving You" off Led Zeppelin III

Harvey Rodstein

Check the post I just made

Andy&Alex

Yeah Vimeo is acting up, we’re going to fix it asap!

Andy&Alex

Had an issue with Vimeo, we’re on it!

Andy&Alex

Just made a post about it

Andy&Alex

Why no work? Ask for password?

John bailey

This is asking for a password?

passing4normal

All of the videos are now locked for me.

Bill Douglas

Why can’t I watch this?

Thomas Persson

for the next song please do Sara by Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac, studio version, greatest and sexiest song ever by Stevie Nicks, greatest song by Fleetwood Mac. the pinnacle

Gary Burley

Also 10 Years Gone and Nobody's Fault But Mine

Steve

Great song choice! Now do either Carouselhambra and/or The Song Remains the Same

Steve

Totally agree, this sounds pedestrian by comparison.

David Hulme

A mind-blower is "Dazed and Confused" from their live album "The Song Remains the Same", all 26 minutes 52 seconds of it!

David Hulme

I’m shocked you did the studio version of this and not the live version from MSG which in my opinion blows this away. Would love to hear a reaction of that version.

Phil Schmidt

Live versions of NQ are just insane. Half an hour long, JPJ busting out some blues/classical piano with JB just vibing in the background, the band just using the stage as a jamming space until JP just bursts on the scene with an off-the-cuff solo masterpiece...I wish I was alive to have seen them live.

George Croot

So everyone reacts to LZ and most people react to a live version of The Immigrant Song from the album How the West Was Won. But noone ever reacts to other songs off that album and it's a travesty, a real tragedy. The version of Since I've Been Loving You from that album is just so soulful and heartwrenching. Everyone requests the MSG version of the song but the HTWWW version is much more crisp and clear. It was recorded in 1972. I don't know why no one else reacts to it other than maybe because there's no video, only audio, but it's a masterpiece of an album. In terms of their career, I'd say it's a live album comparable to Made In Japan in terms of quality.

George Croot

I was never a big fan of Houses of the Holy.

Ross

Do some DOORS!

Mike Hicks

They already did that one

Josh J.

ON NEXT ONE: Not sure if you have done it yet. but if not, RAMBLE ON.

John Howard

They basically threw the kitchen sink at this song. Synths, mellotron, organ, piano, electric, fuzz electric & acoustic guitar, straight bass, fuzz bass, echo all over the place, John Bonham..... AND IT IS STILL A BANGER. I've only listened to live versions of this recently and had forgotten about the piano..... which is fabulous in there.

John Howard

Great reaction, gents! I'm kinda hoping you'll do an album reaction to Zeppelin's penultimate disk, In Through The Out Door!

Blane Mather

Bass, and just about every other instrument you ever 👂 on a Zeppelin album other than 🎸and drum's the true signuture sound of Zeppelin, and rarely talked about, GIVE IT UP FOR MR JOHN PAUL JONES PEOPLE!!

Robert Kaplan

The live version of this from the “Song Remains The Same” is even better. The strange keyboard on this is a mellotron. . https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mellotron

James Grimm

Next LZ song should be Ramble On from Led Zeplin II or Good Times Bad Times from their 1st album.

Skipper Johnston

Have you done Trampled Under Foot from Physical Graffiti yet? If not, check it out!

Scott Speer

Totally agree, that's one of my favorite solos ever

Joaquin Stick

lol, the crunge is great too, wtf are you talking about?

Joaquin Stick

This is my second least favorite song on the album. I hate how Robert's voice sounds. Was never a big fan of the guitar sound on this and there are some random synth bit that don't belong, one that horribly stands out especially when it is just shipped off. I have heard live versions I actually like, but only The Crunge is below this on this album

John Campbell

Houses Of The Holy is a bitchin fuking album. Please react

Jim Martin

Next album should be Physical Graffiti.

Chaos T

Not S tier??....you guys should start reacting to something more up your alley like the Spice Girls and Milli Vanilli.

Michael Howell

I am shocked they still haven’t heard The Guess Who. American Woman and No Sugar Tonight/Mother Nature! And Long Cool Woman by The Hollies. I was not impressed with this song . Not my sound.

DreamsSketcher

I'm into you guys doing a more deeper cut, instead of the more FM played Zep tunes suggested above, I'd like to see your face light up with "Down By The Seaside" an often over looked Gem of a song.

Dan Fletcher

I agree and I hold both of them in the highest esteem.

Garrett Yates

JPJ's keyboard playing is epic in this song.

Chaos T

I am shocked you have not one of the great bands of all time, Moody Blues!! Start with the song Nights in White Satin. And if you really want to go on a trip, do the album In Search of the Long Chord. You will not be disappointed.

andrew martinov

For almost 50 years I’ve heard almost all the Zep covers to see if any band could come close. 1- Kashmir 1a- Kashmir by Leningrad Cowboys (live). OMG. If you want to break that holy grail, check THAT one out

clifton

I think they’ve reacted to this already

Freddy66

Should do the Earls Court live version on YouTube from 1975. Zeppelin getting seriously funky.

Freddy66

"Since I've Been Loving You" is possibly my favorite Led Zeppelin song

Fin

Something a little different from them would be bron-y-aur stomp it’s bit country and little bits of blues to it but very upbeat

Daniel Giurgiu

The entire Physical Graffiti album is a must listen. That would send Andy into a coma and he would have to hug his Orange Slice pillow to recover.

EricMB

Tool's cover of this song is fucking epic. One of the best covers, period.

Sayre Rowan

my favorite zepplin album

lynne

Definitely a JPJ-heavy track (playing BOTH bass and keys). But the live version from TSRTS has a positively RIPPING wah solo from Jimmy.

Dinosaur Rock Guitar

Any album by Bob Seger

Realbser56

Same album....Over the Hills and Far Away.

Jack Bailey

No Quarter? Meh...and I'm a huge Zep fan.

Eliot

In the Light

Rob M

I definitely think you should do Led Zeppelin II next as an album listen, it's just so consistently good. Or 'Since I've been Loving You' as a song reaction from Led Zep III.

Wilss

I agree 💯

Susanne Lasch

"If Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd had a baby" is truly a genius description of this song.

Lucie Melahn

That's what I said!

Lucie Melahn

Ten Years Gone

Monte Cox

If you really want to make them mad, tell them the truth that Danny Carey is a better drummer. Because Danny Carey is better than every drummer. Carey has legit swing jazz skills that the jazz drumming community are amazed by, and anybody that knows anything about music knows rock drummers do not stack up to jazz drummers

maceomaceo11

Oh, forgot to say that my choice for Andy to listen to next would be The Rain Song. So melodic and beautiful. When Robert Plant gave his tribute to Jimmy Page (2007..on Youtube) he spoke of the challenge of finding the proper lyrics for the amazing riffs and creations of Jimmy’s and JPJ.....He specifically mentioned The Rain Song and Achilles Last Stand as examples of the range of their musicianship. Or if you’d like to stick with the rather. Psychedelic feel of No Quarter....In the Light has, to me, a similar vibe.

Evelyn

Houses of the Holy is my favourite Zeppelin album and No Quarter is one of the greatest Zeppelin tunes, imo. It's so moody ... like walking through fog on a cold late autumn night. The Song Remains the Same is also a banger.

Marco von Catfish

I’ve seen a couple of people here comment along the lines of “F*CK Tool”. I don’t know their ages, but it sounds like people of a certain age who think covering a Zeppelin song is sacrilege, or who think rock or metal produced after the seventies or early eighties is just crap. Well, guys....I’m 73 years young and a Zeppelin rocker from ‘69. I love No Quarter. And yet....there are certain covers of major songs that put a whole different feel to the song. Examples: 1) Sound of Silence by Disturbed 2) Hurt by Johnny Cash 3) High Hopes by Nightwish and 4) No Quarter by Tool, and 5) just about any Zeppelin song covered by Heart. A and A can do Tool on their Youtube channel. And because of that, I think the cover of No Quarter by Tool would be great for your channel, guys. And those you say fuck Tool.....I just discovered them for myself last year, (Through your channel I might add) and was blown away by their musicianship and lyrics. You can certainly say you don’t like them, they’re not your genre or taste. But to be dismissive of them is not an option. They are much too complex and talented to be sniffed at. I find that attitude pretty...... immature......just sayin’. OK now....you haters; bring it on. I’m a 73 year old grandma, but I can handle you guys. 🤘😏😎

Evelyn

Custard Pie from Physical Graffiti next please.

Mikey McKinnon

JPJ was doing keyboards, and playing bass with foot pedals.....What a MASSIVE talent he was...and is....as were they all.

Evelyn

My favorite Zep album... Next do Dancing Days...and I agree with Jim Montesano! Supertramp Crime of the Century full album!

Raiderblack

As I always say to my hubs, "when Led Zeppelin is playing, you shut the f*ck up!" Next song "Since I've Been Loving You".

Psonic Psunspot

The best thing about houses of the Holy is the title track which is on Physical Grafitti. Andy might like Carouselambra as it’s very synth heavy.

David Urban

Here here!

Psonic Psunspot

I agree with Larry Morris on "What is and What should never be" - great song!

Kim Cree

Yes, it's a synth bass (a Minimoog I believe). Next, you guys should check out The Rain Song, another track that really show's off John Paul Jones' talents

Richard Camisa

No Quarter, Over The Hills And Far Away, and The Ocean are my 3 favourite songs from this album ( in that order). Would love to see a full album reaction on Crime Of The Century by Supertramp. Peace and love from Toronto!

Jim Montesano

Love the juxtaposition of the very liquid keyboard sound and Page's dry grit guitar tone. Plus Bonham is playing all around the beat near the end, which just gives it a very disorienting feel that's perfect for this song.

Steve Mercer

Fact 1: This is a bong session song. Fact 2: This is a bong session song.

Mikey McKinnon

Since I've Been Loving You - Zep's most underrated blues banger. Straight fire.

MGH

Houses of the Holy is my favorite Zep album.

MGH

I must agree, I think that it would be really cool if they watch the entire movie with us!

Carrie

As for the keyboards.....you are correct; that was all John Paul Jones, the bassist. He could play pretty much anything; like Page, he was a legendary studio cat when the band was formed. Page knew him from their studio work and insisted he join; he knew what he was getting. You hear a LOT of Jones' influence in this song....a portent of things to come later for the band.

Stuart B. Alexander

This was their fifth LP. A major departure for the band, but VERY well received. "The Rain Song" has already been mentioned, and it's a gorgeous MUST listen. For straight ahead rockers, gotta go with "The Ocean".....same album. Give both a good listen/cover and you won't be disappointed. :)

Stuart B. Alexander

John Paul Jones' genius is at the forefront here!

Lamar Savage

You can get lost in this. Psychedelic, yet mature. The Rain song, next.

Lisa Morrison

For a lost in the sauce Zep song, “Tea for One” off the Presence album, 9.5 minutes that feels like 4.

Martin Battle

Fuck Tool

Gary

One of the ultimate “mood” songs. You can see the snow and feel the cold. Fool in the Rain or What is and What Should Never Be are good next stops. Zep can be a bit like RUSH, no real style of their own, they embrace so many styles, and yet you always know it’s them.

LARRY A MORRIS

Major yes to Ten Years Gone!!!

John Ramsell

Sorry but the best version of No Quarter vis still live on "The Song Remains the Same"

Peter J Brown

Custard Pie, Nobody’s Fault But Mine, The Rain Song, In the Evening, Fool in the Rain

John Ramsell

The Rain Song, maybe the most gorgeous song in the Zep catalogue. It was Jimmy’s response to George Harrison telling Bonham that LZ didn’t do any ballads. So Jimmy started off the song with the first 2 chords of “Something “. Other tracks you’ve gotta hit are Ten Years Gone, Since I’ve Been Loving You and Nobody’s Fault But Mine.

Chris H

I have been waiting so long for this. That base drop makes me eargasm every time

Alex Frost

growing up in the late 70's we would be out and about, buddy had to make a call at the pay phone but couldn't. why? He Held No Quarter.....quarrrter....

oakeysmokey

The Ocean, The Rover, Traveling Riverside Blues, How Many More Times.

Ruben Duran

Get back to the blues with Since I’ve Been Loving You.

Jeff Piercey

"Nobody's Fault But Mine".... would be killer...

Paul King

Yes they do absolutely 🔥

Vickie Ray

Cheech and Chong- Basketball Jones and Earache My Eye!

Curt Weisshart

Rain Song!

Lucie Melahn

What's Lucy?

Lucie Melahn

If you like it, you should maybe do Kashmir? Did you do this already? I love Rain Song and also Over the Hills and Far Away on HotH, and the variety of songs makes me love it, but for single latter-day Zeppelin it's Kashmir by a mile.

Kelly

Yeah this is definitely an A+. Zep never lets you down! I think it's time to do "Aja" full album.

Mags

What song to play next? Five precious words..."In My Time of Dying." You will not be disappointed.

Michael Warren

Headed out for a road trip from Portland to San Diego. Stopped at music shop on way out to buy newest Led Zep release. I first time I heard "Southbound Suarez" I was southbound in a Barracuda doing 85 mph!

Robert F Semonious

Andy, play this late at night while inebriated. Feel the chill of the keys and vocals, and the heat of Page's fuzzy guitar lick. I think it'll grow on you 😁

Elizabeth Tankard

From The Complete BBC Sessions live album: Whole Lotta Love (Medley) [1/4/71 Paris Theatre] The way these guys can jam together is epic!

Edward Engle

I want zero to do with Tool, but keep the Zeppelin coming as fast as you want. I'm there.

Robert Reichle

The Song Remains the Same, Ten Years Gone, In the Light, and Since I've Been Loving You. Also, the Tool cover is PHENOMENAL!

charles stone

Led Zeppelin ANY DAY is a good day. This song is for a certain mood or situations for me... Yes. Risky at the time! -- I had no idea that Tool covered this, however the tone of Page's guitar and the cadences are very reminiscent of what Tool does? I could be wrong? So glad you dug it! You already know, any Zeppelin you choose is fine with me. Great day to you - You brightened mine. :)

Lisa W

I think my older brother was playing Zeppelin I when it came out. I was 5. I literally cannot remember not being a Zeppelin fan, so I liked everyone’s suggestions so far. But I think “Nobody’s Fault...” needs more exposure.

James Geckle

In My Time of Dying from Physical Graffiti is a thumpin banger extraordinaire

akaJaneDoe

I was just never a fan of No Quarter... it’s one that I’ll just skip when the playlist hits it randomly... I don’t hate the song it just never resonated with me. Perhaps it’s a true stoner song back in the day. My suggestion remains ‘Since I’ve Been Loving You’. Blues song showcasing all band member talents. So crisp and clean. Working mans song... Give it a shot!!!

Mitch Preciado

This song saved Houses Of The Holy for me. Although there are some good songs, it was a more experimental album. Somehow they thought Reggae was going to be he next thing. It was a cool next thing, but primarily for Bob Marley.

Lawrence Silverman

Hope you see this comment since there’s not as many to wade through. Next time you want a deep cut check out “Tea For One” from their 1976 album “Presence” same album as “Nobody’s Fault But Mine” These songs both kick ass!! 🔥🔥🔥 Check them out!!

Vickie Ray

Gov't Mule does one hell of a cover of No Quarter

Billdawg

The 8th deadly sin is turning off led zepplin

Virginia Weinstein

Live version is better. One of my favorite tunes from any band.

Chuck Conner

For something really out of left field I'd recomend checking out Streetlight Manifesto. They're a ska-punk band from New Jersey and have one of the coolest and most unique sounds and styles of any band I've heard. I've seen them 3 times live and it was always incredible. We Will Fall Together or Would You Be Impressed are both great introductions to the band.

Josh Waterhouse

Ten Years Gone. A hidden gem that radio thankfully never played.

jukebox1899 .

Oh hell yes

RiffJunky68

Excellent! Would love you guys to hit Nobody’s Fault but Mine!🔥

Lumin

ahhhh, this record is so very high school for me, and I can smell the incense from here.

Kelly

Suggestion: Trampled Under Foot (Great underappreciated Banger)

Josh J.

Love it but I’m still gonna push for “Nobody’s Fault But Mine” 🔥😉🎤🎸

Vickie Ray

oh man....I have mellowed out after doin some Lucy more than a few times....love this song.....peace

Damien Paris

Yes, Zeppelin’s great.

Renée Ehefrau Gray

Must do Tool’s cover

Curtis Gunnarson

Now do Tool’s cover
