Unfinished Line Art - Lady Blackhawk Chloroformed
Added 2018-08-17 23:59:42 +0000 UTCDigging into my archives again, and I found this line art from June 2017. I tried to draw a scene based on Birds of Prey #115 (http://sleepycomics.com/1370). In the comic, a villain named Killer Shark sedates Lady Blackhawk with an injection. He then brings her under mind control and has her attack Huntress. It's a fun story in the comics, as Huntress is later seen bound and gagged.
I wanted to draw my own version, where Killer Shark chloroforms Lady Blackhawk. This line art never got finished though. I think I ended up drawing D.Va bound and gagged instead.
At the time I didn't think my line art was that great. The poses were a little stiff, and I wasn't thrilled with her hair or facial expression. The art just felt bland to me. I suppose I could go back and revise the line art. There's a lot of potential here!
For now patrons, just enjoy this piece as it stands.

Personally, I think you should finish this one. Lady Blackhawk needs a proper piece of chloro art. She's just too sexy to not get it.

2018-08-18 02:51:32 +0000 UTCThanks for sharing! I think the pose looks good and like the menace on the villain. I can see what you shared about Lady Blackhawk's expression. Seems like she should be more shocked or more sleepy at this point, ready to give in. It's still a great piece of line art.
