It's going to be quite a while before we learn Waverley's history. The papers Nicole gave her were application forms for her to get all of her records. Separate from that is the fact that Waverley is possessed because of touching the goo at the end of season 1. When her eyes go black, the demon kind of takes over. She becomes "Gooverley". The explosion scene they showed in the previously on section was at the very end of the last episode. It cut off for some reason in the version you uploaded to Patreon. You should go back and watch it, but basically after Doc rescued Dolls, he removed the TNT from his jacket and left it next to one of the crates. At the end of the episode, the camera shows a gloved finger reaching out through the bars of the crate and scratching the TNT so that there's an explosion. You're supposed to infer that "something" escapes from BBD HQ.
