Xichen, a pool technician, never turned up and Michael became frustrated with his absence. Michael proceeded to call and give his tardy friend an earful, but noticed Xichen sounded distraught on the other end of the line. When asked if everything was okay, Xichen responded that his wife, 21-year-old Nhu Quynh Pham, burned his passport. He then told Michael that because of this, he became enraged and did “unspeakable things” to her...

At all. Again, I’m a big fan of yours and I appreciate your work so much. I recognize all the efforts and time you spend on creating & entertaining the show. It’s overall an extremely professionally made and executed show, probably top 5 in the true crime podcasts world. So, I’m saying this because I -do- care. I’m guessing you already know about the MB circus and that he is not a person one should be happy to resemble.. I really hope you can humbly take my comment as constructive criticism, because it really is just that. Your heart is in the right place, it’s very clear. But please, please consider trying a different approach when describing individuals and happenings. Best of luck to you, my support definitely remains for now and I hope there will be no need to consider otherwise. ✨
