In the early morning hours of June 22nd, 2013, 22-year-old Matthew Cordle got into his truck after a long night out on the town drinking with friends in Columbus, OH.  During the drive home, Matthew ended up careening down the wrong side of the interstate, eventually slamming head on into 61-year-old Vincent Canzani, killing him instantly.  What at first seemed like an unduly delayed investigation, soon made national headlines, after Matthew posted a video to YouTube where he publicly confessed to the crime…

This was an excellent episode. I am most disheartened by all the praise rolling in for Cordle for doing the right thing. It just disgusts me. Why wouldn't one do the right thing and accept full responsibility? The fuck. If he was really doing the right thing, he wouldn't have made that stupid video first. No regard for the victim or the victim's family. Do the prosecutors not speak in a sentencing hearing? I felt that Mr. Canzani's daughter had no representation. Just disgusted by this guy.
