Despite receiving several threatening emails from a former student, Dr. Meixner was excited to begin an upcoming project that would remodel the infrastructure of groundwater conservation in Arizona, during a time of extreme drought. However, before that project could ever get off the ground, 47-year-old Murad Dervish somehow managed to breach the Harshbarger Building located on the Tucson campus, looking for Dr. Meixner while clutching a 9mm Ruger in his hand…
