Our place of work is one of the environments we should expect to feel safe in. Even if the nature of the job is dangerous, all employees deserve respect and decency from their employer and co-workers. Most would argue that individuals under the age of 18 entering the workforce deserve an extra layer of protection. Unfortunately that safeguarding would come far too late for Walgreens employee, 17-year-old Riley Whitelaw, when a man 11 years her senior refused to stop making sexual advances while on the clock.
