The Dance

Matthew Terry was an all American guy from Michigan. He was a good looking man in his late 40’s, well liked, charming, and even involved in his community. There’s no wonder why Michelle Rogers fell for him when they first met on a dating app. back in 2017…but do you ever really know someone until you live with them? After taking the leap and moving in together, Matt’s true colors began to show…and they weren’t nearly as bright and vibrant as he’d tried to portray. Soon, a dark past would be swept from underneath the rug…but not before Michelle found herself with a knife to her throat on the floor of her own kitchen.

Second this. What a MONSTER! And Michelle … what a warrior, and she told her story so well. I can’t believe I’ve never heard of this story and shame on the state of Michigan for letting that woman get killed. It made me ill to think of the indignity and terror suffered by Michelle as she dealt with a contemptuous family court system that tried to make her out to be the irrational one for doing everything she could to keep her child from that man. This episode made me feel like the entire system is broken, but at least Michelle is still alive and she and her child never have to worry about being hurt by that man again.

I nearly got sick listening to this. I never comment but this time I have to. Michelle is an absolute warrior. I just have no words.

How much is a woman's life worth how many women have to be killed before the law takes it seriously I know when I was going through it my mother-in-law told me she thought I broke my own nose to make her son look bad even though I was trying to hide it from her. I know she went through the same thing in the beginning of her marriage with her husband but he had changed it took him to quit drinking and going back to church but he did but not be for teaching his son when my son was 3 he hit me and I told him he was not supposed to hit girls or mommy he said but daddy does I started to cry hugged him packed him up and took him up to my father-in-law's house and told him what my son said and I told Dan it started with him please fix this he talked to my son for over 2hours that's how I know he stopped I just wish his son could have but he couldn't. His mother thought he could do no wrong but Dan he knew what his son was
