It’s why we see a lot of cases go cold, for years on end and even sometimes… forever. In 2017, Las Vegas Metro police refused to let that happen. After realizing they might have a serial murderer on their hands, they took action. With the similarities of each homicide having shown frightening resemblances to the next, authorities knew it was only a matter of time before another attack occurred. There are many ways to commit murder, but there are also many ways to prevent it - and Nevada would arguably become the home of the most creative plan to catch a killer…after Las Vegas Metro authorities facilitated one of the most bizarre and unorthodox sting operations in history.
