Felony Friday - Forever Mine

Online dating is as normalized as it's ever been. It’s how people meet these days. Even a decade ago, AOL, MSN, AIM and random chat rooms were where a lot of kids found themselves looking for love or an intimate connection. When 15-year-old Jack Sepple met 12-year-old Ashley Wadsworth online, the connection seemed harmless enough. But over the years, their innocent conversations would eventually escalate into plans of one day meeting in person. After graduating high school, Ashley took a leap of faith and purchased a plane ticket to finally meet her English internet boyfriend in person. But after hopping the pond from British Columbia to London, her romantic round-trip adventure would tragically turn out to be a one-way visit…

hard not to point fingers at her sister and family for not doing something when they could. Watching her get beat on camera and you just waited for her to get home safe? You didn't drop everything to go save her? This was 2021 not 2005, people have a better understanding of the risks of domestic abuse. The family must be going through a lot of grief, but at the end of the day her blood is on their hands as well. Get up and get your daughter. Shameful.
