2024-09-25 06:35:09 +0000 UTCAfter 2+ years of playing the game, Blair still doesn't know some of the basic rules of the game. Incredible. I just think that makes the short games way less interesting. Good on Dom to carry the team though. That was fun to watch at least.

2024-05-14 22:53:39 +0000 UTCBlair never said she was the damsel in a three for three you're mixing her up with Ivan and Mara or the one snippet of conversation where Mara claimed Damsel and Blair said it while laughing (which heavily came across as a joke). Really Ivan is to blame since he heavily suggested he was either the Huntsman or the Damsel.

Great job to Tegan as well! I don't know how much she was playing it up, but the whole "I'm too new to give out certain information" really played in her favor.

This may not have led directly to her execution (I'd have to look at the tape again) but there was knowledge there was a damsel in play among the general populace. Again, Dom might have figured it out anyway, because of her unlucky bluffs. But I still feel she played it wrong.

Turns out if you pick a bluff and it's one of the demons unless you get yourself killed real quick you have really high odds of being picked.

2024-04-30 04:39:22 +0000 UTCWell, he figured it out anyway in the end. He knew by the end of the first day, really, because it wasn't played right IMO. In such a small game, you don't want to tell ANYONE that you're the Damsel. Find a bluff and hope to randomly find the huntsman. Never tell ANYONE you are the Damsel or that you might be the Damsel. It doesn't matter if the demon kills you or if you're executed by the town. Most of the people I've seen play the Damsel pretend to be a first-night information gatherer that gets executed by the town. Then they play as though they were that first-night character after they die. The potential risk is too great. At least, that's the only way I've ever seen it successfully played. (Aside from I think the first NRB game it was in where the huntsman actually found them and their powers activated.) But this is at least the third time where a henchman guessing the damsel has won the game for evil team. Twice snatching victory from the jaws of defeat.

Makes me want to play with the Boomdandy and the Damsel in our games. Thanks so much for the episode NRB! Thanks to all the participants for taking part, too! Her choice was also a bad one, but the storytellers think it was a good one; I disagree, at least next to picking Dom and getting some absolute information that would be useful to the town.
