Americas Cup Louis Vuitton Project Breakdown Part 02

Alright Friends,

I know, I´m going very much into the details but I just wanted to take the chance to give you detailed insights into the design workflow / thinking in my client projects.

Besides the C4D techniques, I´m sure these insights can be useful especially for new artists who don´t have so many client experience yet.

Have a nice weekend everyone! Best,

Markus

Sorry, that was kind of a long answer, but I hope it was a bit useful anyway!

Of course, that can put a bit of pressure on the team or artists who will be responsible to animate it, but as said: I usually keep these thoughts in mind and let them know, if things can be challenging. And often I also jump into animation, so I also dont want to make my life miserable by promising things we can´t do.

Yes, most of the time I already have an idea on how to animate it based on my styleframes. But sometimes I also have to say the client that this approach might be difficult to achieve in the amount of time we have for this project. So, yes, you have to also think about how to animate it, but! Typically the studio that books you wants these styleframes to just look supernice and "aim high". To exite their client and convince them, that the end result will look just amazing.

Hi Jeff, oh I already wrote an asnwer but it seems like I forgot to "send" it, soooo...

Do you ever worry that your some of your style frames are things that may look cool but if the client signs off on them, they will be a nightmare to pull off or worried how you'll transition to the next shot? Or is this something you already know ahead of time.. don't promise the client something you can't deliver?
