This Month: Creating Styleframes for Big Clients

In the last two years I was often booked by different studios, to create styleframes for big clients, so I thought: I´m gonna share some insights and knowledge about this process of a project and how you can deliver beautiful results fast and efficient.
Of course, I also know: Today, AI plays a role in this process, too. For example some of my latest clients used it in the initial process to come up with ideas. But don´t let this fool you and discourage you. AI only brings you so far, but then traditional 3D software pushes it further. I feel confident that an Artist, who knows how to create visuals instead of prompting, is always superiour and will have his place in the production pipeline.
Creating styleframes also trains your basic design skills to come up with beautiful lighting solutions and how to frame a scene with your camera. These are fundamental skills and it divides the good artist from the not-so-good artists. Without these skills, no AI will help you;-).
So let´s get into "styleframes" bootcamp a bit, and level up our design skills!
PS: Having this fundamental design knowledge and training will also help you with AI solutions in the future of course. Just don´t let it stress you and hold you back from becoming a great artist.
