This episode somehow surpassed my expectations, loved the balance between board gaming chat and learning a bit about your backstories through anecdotes. Additionally having VERY recently played GOT board game for the first time I could firmly attest to that sense of dread witnessing players take things way to personal with one another. Not a fan of that I can confirm! Finally the quote of this episode for me had to be when Sully said “The more I talk about Brooke the more it sounds like I’m dating a rodent” I nearly spat my own mouthful of coffee out as a result!

My board game etiquette peeve is when you are playing with a couple and one of them deliberately chooses to not target the other out of fear of an argument outside the game, even though it’s the most tactical move. It makes it feel like everyone else is playing against a team of two and it gets annoying when it keeps happening. Me and my partner have a rule, what happens in the game stays in the game, as soon as the game is over, no grudges carry on 😂 Love these podcasts guys, you really are treating us with the content! Hope everyone is keeping well :)

I'm with Rosie and Sully about Betrayal. It's a better idea on paper than in practice. I want to like it, but the first two thirds of it is just... wandering around, without a goal or a purpose, waiting for the good part to start. And then the good part starts and still probably isn't that good.
