The format may be subject to change as it goes forward, but right now we're looking at a fortnightly podcast, where lovely Sullybobs will be talking to a different guest each week about all things board games. This week he's talking to Adam!!
We'd love it if you give it a listen, and because it's a private podcast just for you guys, if you have any suggestions for segments you'd like to see added to the show, don't hesitate to drop a comment below

We tried to do Spice road, but it is just exhanging cubes for other colors, and it had really nothing else to talk about. Then we did Trivial pursuit and got to talking about countries we've visited and things that come to mind from the questions, it did so much better and was so much more fun!

Question for the mailbag though: As someone who fell in love with board games after watching the channel and going as far to buy a few, Cosmic Encounter, Herd mentality, Shobu etc. Have you any advice on what to do where, after buying them, you find yourself with nobody to play them with because your friends dislike board games? It's such a shame to see good games gather dust on the shelf.

Maybe do an anual one and stick to the digital format once a month for now. I bet the vast majority of the viewers would like to see as many games as you can play of BOTC... so when having to choose between 1 live show or 3 digital stories... I think the digitals will be perferred. I understand for you it is far more satisfying to play in real life.

As to benefits here are a few ideas: T shirts, those lovely Botc logo badges (signed or unsigned), copy of the game/app, props from the shoot, thank you vids, games ran online, names in credits, votes on a person playing a particular character and hoodies. Sorry for the length was all I could think of. Keep up the good work guys. Really enjoyed the podcast.

With go to jail, and highs and lows, 2 out of 3 of those questions are negative so adding another positive one could balance it out. Maybe childhood games. Maybe they played weird unique games or just grew upon buckaroo. Could transition into how they got into board gaming as an adult. Also, I'd add a silly competition where you could have a leaderboard for guests. Like who can say the word Boardgames for the longest time. Something daft that'll make guests competitive and listeners laugh. Just a few thoughts but overall I really enjoyed it.

Also, I am all about a Sully Storyteller game. I joined the Patreon because of the latest Blood on the Clocktower production. Totally worth it. I think people that think they hate board games actually hate Hasbro board games personally. Board games become boring children's toys. Also, agreed, Monopoly.

And on the back with a finger pointing out at the reader of the shirt asking "Are you evil??" Great show, can't wait for the next one

For a high tier perk how about the chance to play a game of BoTC online with you? I’m thinking it could be a game with half the people from NRB and the other half are Kickstarter Backers.

For stretch goals, totally agree with the discussion about the game - love hearing you guys talk through what you were feeling and thinking about the plays so either an additional vid with a commentary track or just the round table chat about what went down. Would there also be any possibility of including an exclusive showing - like a gala premiere - with a bar and maybe a few of the NRB drew there, partly as it would be lovely to meet more of the community (appreciate this would be £££ though).

Not sure if they would be possible and would probably be high amounts for them. 1) being in the audience for the recordings, not sure if this is possible depending on the space. 2) being able to participate in the game.

But still, if you need ideas I would say some magnanimous Dom image, the eat shit Blair t-shirt, an actual billiard room picture with the billiard boys. Also the actual wining and loosing stats and (since Adams pain may be a good hook) a more painfull scoreboard en the channel.

The group loved it though, but I think it was more because we have played so many games together as a group, sitting out for 20 or so minutes didn’t matter and we were back into another one soon after. Great format guys. Looking forward to this series. More excellent content. Really spoiling us.

I have two big ones, one being way more likely to work out than the other. 1) Bloopers definitely. I know you already said that in the pod, but I want to confirm that that is the best idea ever. 2) Less likely but something I have wanted for a while: A POV showing of an episode. What I mean is a regular episode but we only see the information one person is getting so we as the audience can work it out with them. Maybe a poll could happen to see who's POV we do? I don't know. This is just something I think I would like to see.
