Hi Shelley, sorry for the late answer. Hmm, I can´t give you an exact answer sadly, because I didn´t had this issue lately. But turning it first into an alembic is a workflow that often makes sense!

2023-06-19 19:05:47 +0000 UTCThanks for the tutorials. I do have a question, if that is permitted? I followed the tutorial, no issues. I added a rope/cloth simulation (cloth used for connectors). I wanted to have some wispy smoke emitting from the power cables. I think its a screen refresh or connector refresh, but if you haven't cached either pyro or the rope/cloth, it freaks out the rope simulation. I'm going to cache and possibly export as alembic, but wanted to ask you if this is a known issue and what you might recommend for best work flow. By freaking out - its a simple rope that twists and moves to connect with a counterpart. Works fine, until I hit play to look at the simulation for both pyro and the rope/cloth.
