The video was great. It sounds like the story of the evil Batman who traded trinkets for the natives' land and the way it removes any agency and thought on the part of the natives kind of re-frames the whole idea of white man's burden & civilization vs. barbarism, presenting the story as "improperly taking advantage of the inferiors", preserving the idea of the civilizing mission of western nations as a positive.
