"Genie"
Added 2024-04-28 20:27:28 +0000 UTCWrote this out while sitting in my thinkin' chair last night and having fun with words and pictures. And I've been recently curious and considering goin' the Square-shaped comic page route for the future of comics that I post mostly online. Like: this is a 12 panel comic in three breezy "pages". And it's easy enough to make 12 panels work on one page, I've done so. But a stupid idea has more room to breath like this, which may trick people into thinking it's not so stupid.
In other news: I submitted "God's Hands" for a National Cartoonist Society Award for best gag comic. It did not get nominated. There's a lot of folk in that society, so it's important that I tried. Next time! Maybe if I ever win one (1) award I actually submit to, my long-standing fomo in the comic industry will go away.
