1 - Enter: Ryuji Tatsuma! [LDA]

[ Tatsuma Household, Niigata ]

[ 25 March 2198 ]

Ryuji Tatsuma was willing to admit that he had it pretty good. He was rich now, thanks to his sister, and he also had a pretty damn good Quirk– Dragonification– thanks to his absentee parents. Sure, Ryuji couldn't 'grow' like his sister could, and he was pink... but he didn't hate pink. In fact, it suited him quite well.

Not to mention that, he was still just as strong as his sister, if not stronger.

And it was all thanks to her that Ryuji could spend nearly all of his lazing around their flat, doing nothing but eating, sleeping, and binge watching TV. In fact, if he wanted to spend the rest of his life doing fuck all, Ryuji was pretty sure that Ryuko would indulge him.

Hell, she had even let him drop out of highschool.

'I still have to take online courses, though,' he sighed.

Her love had its limits.

Despite his lazy nature, though, Ryuji enjoyed a good fight. Not to mention that spending the rest of his life doing nothing... it'd be far too boring for him. Ryuji almost needed to get a job, even if it was only to blow off some steam. With that in mind, it was all but confirmed that he was going to be a Pro Hero like his sister.

His Quirk was already more than good enough.

'Has there ever even been a sibling duo in the top 10?' he wondered idly, grinning.

Despite his sister being a top ten Pro, along with his 'Auntie' Rumi– which was honestly kind of wild to think about– his life was kind of boring, really.

'Not that I'd change it,' he mused.

He was quite happy with where his life was now, all things considered. But almost as if the very universe itself wanted to challenge his idle thoughts, what was arguably the most interesting thing possible struck Ryuji as he got up to get a glass of water.

~Have fun.~

Ryuji stumbled as the words echoed through his mind.

But words alone weren't enough to make Ryuji stumble, no. Those words just so happened to be accompanied by nearly twenty years of memories. Memories of one Matteo– a rather ordinary guy from before the Dawn of Quirks. Unfortunately for Matteo, though, it was almost like the world was out to get him. Since after surviving a house fire by the skin of his teeth, Matteo had been hit by a semi-truck the very next day.

"The hell...?" Ryuji muttered, disoriented.

Then his eyes widened.

"Is this Matteo's– no, is this my Quirk?" he asked, confused. Since even if it had only been just a few moments since he inherited Matteo's memories, Ryuji had also inherited the emotions attached to them. Not to mention that, as far as Ryuji could tell– upbringings aside– their personalities were practically identical.

Almost as if he had always been Ryuji AND Matteo.

"Wait," he muttered, frowning, "Matteo died in 2024, wouldn't he– wouldn't I have known about the glowing baby, or at least Quirks in general...?"

Ryuji winced as the memories settled in further. What had been spotty, hazy, and confusing just a few moments ago... was now crystal clear. The why, the how, all of his questions were answered in an instant, and Ryuji stumbled backwards, eyes wide, falling to the floor as the reality of his situation hit him.

"What the fuck?" he asked, bewildered.

Boku No Hero Academia.

He was an extra in an anime– no, even less than that. He wasn't even mentioned in it, which stung his pride slightly.

His sister was a character in an anime.

Even his auntie Rumi was a character in said anime... and with the knowledge of what was coming in just over a year's time, Ryuji found himself clenching his fists, as well as biting his lip so hard that it nearly bled. The images of Rumi being torn apart by those foul creatures, losing her limbs as she gave it her all, fighting tooth and nail... it infuriated him.

No, Ryuji wasn't going to let that happen. He didn't care if his auntie got her rocks off fighting to the death, he wasn't letting her get mutilated like that.

But before Ryuji did anything, he needed to get his thoughts in order.

'I died as Matteo, and then... and then I was presented with essences.' Essences being mystical, powerful, world-breaking elixirs that could grant the wildest of abilities... and Matteo had been give the chance to pick three of them.

"Essence of the Dragon..." Ryuji recited, his eyes widening as the realization of his new found power clicked into place. His Quirk, Dragonification, was no more– no, Ryuji was a REAL dragon now. He could still manifest his individual traits, like scales, claws, and so forth... but now he had a 'dragon-form' like his sister.

Except of course, his wasn't just a transformation.

"Not to mention that sis isn't a real dragon," he chuckled.

It was a little joke they had, since to be a dragon, you had to be able to breathe fire. In fact, it went both ways, since while he was the sibling who could breathe fire... he was also the sibling who couldn't become a dragon. Ryuji could only manifest draconic traits– he would never be able to change size, or be anything more than bipedal– hence the name Dragonification.

'Well, not anymore.'

Since now, Ryuji was an actual dragon, and that came with a lot of boons.

First off, he was immortal.

Which was... wow. He was going to live forever.

There was probably something out there that could kill him, if they could somehow annihilate him down to the very last atom... Shigaraki came to mind... but Ryuji would still live, and he would even return to top-form, presumably. Which was a startling thought. And not only was he immortal and undying, but he no longer has to eat, sleep, or even breathe.

Then there was the fact that he was now one of the strongest beings in the world.

Ryuji knew that he was strong beforehand, his Quirk being on par with his sister's, who was one of Japan's top ten Pro Heroes... but now, he was so much stronger. As far as Ryuji was aware, there were only three people at the moment that could MAYBE contend with him– those being Star & Stripe, All For One, and All Might himself.

Even if it wasn't due to his own effort, the thought still made him swell up with pride.

"Right..." Ryuji mumbled. He was a dragon now, in both mind and body.

'Then there's the essence of the Binder.'

This one was good, really good. It let him bind or mark anyone he wanted, letting him control them however he wanted, mentally AND physically. He could even grant them some of his own abilities... making them immortal along with him. No one that Ryuji remotely cared for would be dying, or would be crippled. Ever.

Ryuji could also empower people his blood, or his... 'essence,' since he was a dragon... but the essence of the Binder was more thorough, letting him pick and choose exactly what abilities he wanted to give to his bound. They would also be immortal– TRULY immortal– since even after death, even after total annihilation, they would instantly reappear with but a thought, their very existence bound to his.

They could also never be used against him, since he would always know where they were, and he could always summon them to his side with yet another thought.

He could even communicate with them telepathically.

It was a bit relieving that he hadn't screwed himself over, granting himself immortality and no one else. Ryuji liked to think he was a bit smarter than that, and he apparently was.

"Then last but not least, essence of the..." Ryuji paused. "Of the Breeder."

It made Ryuji the sexiest thing alive, supernaturally compelling to anyone that he was even remotely interested in, or happened to fit his interests. It gave him incredible amounts of charisma, and he also operated on 'porn logic' now, making him unaffected by any and all of the downsides to sex.

As the name of the essence implied, Ryuji could now breed with anyone and anything that could remotely conceive, he could pump as many or as little kids as he wanted to into a woman, and he could even choose the sex, the traits, and the powers of his spawn.

And his spawn... they'd be born in just a few months, and they'd reach full maturity, both physical and psychological, just a few months after that.

Not to mention that, there were no negative side effects to incest.

"How lewd," he muttered, blushing.

Ryuji was aghast and embarrassed by the choices that Matteo– that he– had made, but he could also understand them. After all, Ryuji was a man of culture.

Then after consuming his essences, Matteo had passed out.

Becoming... himself.

"Then there were the words that Matteo heard before he fainted... 'you will arrive in a world suited to your desires.'" Ryuji recited aloud. Another perk of being a dragon, his mind was now a fortress, his memory perfect. He would even be an expert on magic, not that his current world had any magic.

Speaking of his current world, that of Boku No Hero Academia, Ryuji immediately noticed some... discrepancies.

Nothing had changed from his perspective– since he still considered himself Ryuji– but it was interesting to note that, unlike the manga, Yuuei had always been a University. There were also a few heroes that were different, the most notable one being Hawks, who in Ryuji's reality, was known as Japan's fastest rising female rookie.

Ryuji just chalked it up to the words 'a world suited to your desires.'

But despite all the world-shattering revelations, like him being an immortal dragon, the existence of the multiverse, and the fact that he was Matteo as well as Ryuji... Ryuji wasn't worried.

He still had blonde hair with tufts of pink and yellow-pink eyes. He still stood at 6' 4" with flawless skin and a chiseled body. His Quirk might no longer exist, but all of his previous abilities falling under his status of a dragon. He might have an entirely new set of memories... but he still felt like his old self.

He still felt like Ryuji.

He still IS Ryuji.

'It's still gonna take me a while to get used to this.'

"Yuji, I'm home!" his sister's voice echoed from downstairs.

Checking his phone, Ryuji realized that it was already half-past eight. Ryuko, being a day-time hero, had just gotten off work. Taking everything in once more, Ryuji leaned back, laying down on the floor. He let out a dry chuckle. 'In an instant, I became so strong... and with practically endless room for growth. Auntie Rumi would hate me.'

Just like his sister, his Quirk was unreasonably strong... so unlike Rumi, neither him nor Ryuko put that much effort into getting stronger. They didn't need to. 'Or rather, we didn't,' Ryuji thought, frowning. Now that he knew about All For One, as well as the implied existence of a multiverse, they had all the reason to train as much as possible.

If Ryuji didn't do anything, Japan could very well be reduced to rubble in just two years.

'Not that I really care,' he thought absentmindedly, before he sat straight up, eyes wide, shocked by what he had just thought.

"Not that I really care?" Ryuji repeated aloud.

He mulled it over, and he realized that, no, he didn't care. He definitely cared for Ryuko and Rumi, and he was mildly interested in all the 'characters' that his world had waiting for him, but he didn't care for Japan at large, not really.

Ryuji realized that he didn't really care for the average person. Like, at all.

"Is that because I'm a dragon...?"

"Is what because your a dragon?"

Ryuji practically leapt off the floor, whipping around at his sister's voice. Now that he was focusing on her, he could smell and hear her. Ryuko had only managed to get the drop on him because he was still recovering from the onslaught of revelations. And if Ryuji were to have it his way, that would be the very last time she managed to startle him.

"You know I hate it when you do that," he scowled.

"What are you doing on the floor, talking to yourself? Calling yourself a dragon?" she teased, wiggling her eyebrows. "Aren't you a little old to still be a Chūnibyō?"

Ryuji was about to retort, but as he looked at his sister... he noticed a few things.

How she fidgeted slightly when they made eye-contact. How her breath was ever-so-slightly uneven, even though with her stamina, Ryuko had no reason to be winded at all. Not to mention that her cheeks were the slightest bit pink.

'She likes me,' Ryuji thought, 'like, romantically.'

Ryuji had to put nearly all of his effort into preventing that profound realization from showing on his face. His mind still reeling, Ryuji idly thought back to his new essences. With the mind of a dragon, along with the added experiences of his new memories, it was easy to see. In fact, it was so incredibly obvious to him now... that Ryuji was forced to admit that he had been willingly ignoring his sister's love for him.

"I'm not a Chūnibyō," he growled. "I just made a breakthrough with my Quirk."

"You did?" she asked, eyes wide. "Show me, show me!"

Ryuji smiled slightly at his sister's reaction. Though she was known as the 'gentle and composed' female hero to the public, Ryuko was always a bit excitable around him. It made him happy that he was one of the few people who knew this side of her.

But even though he had said that he had unlocked something new with his 'Quirk,' he wasn't exactly sure what to show her, or tell her. It was a lot to unpack– hell, Ryuji himself still wasn't done unpacking it.

More than anything else, he just wanted to pin Ryuko down right then and there.

'But that would be immoral,' Ryuji thought, before realizing that he didn't care. Why would he ever care about something so trivial? He was a dragon.

Not only was Ryuji a dragon, but he was even a dragon of Lust. He had control over all things regarding Lust, as well as Fire... and one more element. Ryuji wasn't sure what his last element was just quite yet, but he was sure that he'd figure it out eventually.

That was when it hit him– this was what Matteo wanted, what HE wanted. If Matteo was truly another version of himself, that meant that he would know Ryuji better than anyone else. That he would know all of Ryuji's deepest, darkest desires.

That deep, deep down, Ryuji was greedy. Insufferably so.

He wanted everything for himself. Whether it was women, money, fame, or power, Ryuji wouldn't be truly satisfied unless he had it all. The only reason he never truly sought it out was, well, his sister was a hero... and those were things that heroes frowned upon. Things that society frowned upon.

Not to mention that it was a silly, fruitless ambition.

But now, well... Ryuji didn't see it as that much of an issue.

'Why not give into my inhibitions?' he thought idly, barely holding back a grin. 'Those are things that are quite literally designed to hold me back.'

Ryuji was going to take everything that the world had to offer, starting with his sister.
