From its lair of twisted twigs it watches as careless adventurers stumble deeper and deeper into their doom. In its hiding spot of crooked branches it waits for the perfect moment to engage. The skull owl cares little about making the final strike. It doesn’t hunt to feed, it doesn’t find joy in battle – it simply strives for observing demise unfold.
