February Wrap Up

Dear Patrons,

How are you doing? I hope the week has treated you well so far!

This month was quite exciting! Not only because I released my very first Character Race – the Deadrose Wildsprout… (of course this won't be the last one and I can't wait to work on some more! So many options…Thumbstalls, Hornlets, Gloomcloaks…now where to continue?)

…but also since I had the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with Conflux Creatures, Stained Karbon Maps & Barren Boards. The later worked on some amazing 3D sculpts of the Ink Spawn and the Toothbold. You can find them over here in case you've missed them:

3D Print files for the Ink Spawn and the Toothbold

As always, I've bundled up all of February's files. You can find them over at the main posts:

PS March's Huge Monster Poll dropped two days ago - don't forget to vote on the next huge creature's creature type!

Huge Monster

Amphibious Witch Craft – Huge construct, unaligned

Made in collaboration with Stained Karbon Maps

Waddling through the marshy branches that spread through the bog like veins through flesh, the amphibious witch craft is a most fascinating sight to behold. Surely, the bog hag has various means of transportation but nothing compares to a bumpy ride down the river to soothe her restless and ever-exploring thoughts.

Monsters

Cash Calf – Tiny aberration, any alignment

Either a cosmic visitor or a guest coming from the deepest abyss there is – no one knows for sure. In any case, the so-called cash calf is a thoroughly curious blend of eldritch and ooze. Its shiny face is a mockery of the so valuable currency the mortals name coins. Oddly enough, this slimy critter is drawn to the such, striving to replace its precious head end whenever possible.

Catchy Culm Carpet – Huge swarm of Tiny plants, unaligned

A carpet of catchy culms pursues a most peculiar hunting strategy. In an endless dance of back and forth, this wondrous accumulation of plants traps its precious prey. Beasts, monsters and wanderers alike are entangled and caught in a repetitious circle until they eventually collapse from exhaustion, delusion or worse.

Eavesdrop – Tiny ooze, unaligned

Spectating the crowds from its vantage point high above, the the rooftop-dwelling eavesdrop waits for its chance to strike. Once an unlucky individual departs from the many, this peculiar ooze drops down trying to engulf its victim’s head with the acidic matter that forms its body.

Lemon Aider – Tiny plant, neutral

When life is given to lemons… A lemon aider tries its best to return the favor of receiving the wonderful gift of life. It devotes its mortal time solely to healing as well as rescuing and doesn’t care about whom, where or when it helps.

Marshbellow – Small plant, unaligned

Made in collaboration with Conflux Creatures

In the farthest-flung reaches of fetid, fog-choked fens dwells the fluffy fungus known as the marshbellow; a flame-loving form of flora forced to roam far afield; back and forth between the flooded fields where the mallow flowers they feed upon flourish, and the grass-filled flatlands whose fitful wildfires fruit their otherwise- fallow spores.

Straying Gray – Tiny celestial, neutral

Seemingly lost and without any concept of orientation, a tiny knight shaded in pale wanders the lands. Detached from the doings and undoings of mortals, it follows a path no one can even begin to grasp. The straying gray is what they call this eldritch emergence; the bringer of nil; the herald of naught.

Item

Critter Glasses – Wondrous item, very rare

A most exquisite pair of lenses for anyone who is interested in the tiny details, wants to check the fine print, prefers to take a closer look or simply enjoys the little things.

Potions

Caterpillar Filler – Potion, legendary

“The one weakness of the highly admirable caterpillar is its fondness for fancy beverages and elaborated brews. Its most favoured drink: the caterpillar filler. A blissful blend of taste and utility; a magnificent mélange of magic and science; a glorious combo of passion and purpose.”

Culmados – Potion, very rare

The taste of this potion is quite bitter and some may argue that the pickeld catchy culm floating in there seems a bit repulsive. Its effect, however, is said to be moving – in the most literal sense.

Lemon Drop – Potion, rare

To make the visit of a lemon aider even more cheerful, this peculiar creature sometimes drops a lemon drop. It is said to be quite enjoyable although its magical aftertaste can be explosively sour.

Marshbellow Jello – Potion, legendary

The marshbellow’s spongy spores spread an incredibly caramelly aroma and it is no surprise that this whimsical ingredient is used in countless deserts and beverages. Ironically, magical potions based on it are quite rare. Still, there is one which acquired quite the renown: the marshbellow jello – soft enough to drink, far too deliciously hard to pass on.

Character Race

Deadrose Wildsprout – Character Race

Emerging far away, only the deadrose wildsprouts are born unburdened by their queen’s embrace. Most of them continue on into a life of exploration and adventure. Some, however, feel a subtle urge to return into the mercilessly loving arms of the ever-withering Deadrose Queen.

Foundry VTT

10 more critters are available for Foundry VTT!

And as always, to wrap up the wrap please allow me to share a teaser image of a soon-to-be release – an album full of critter stickers:

Keep on rolling!
