This is awesome! How did you lay the full green background down with that pattern? Is that hand drawn too or sampled?

also coloring has become more interesting for me in the past several years, so using the palette from the games, finding a corresponding colorful background from the game, and all that is definitely a new way of thinking for me! Sometimes it becomes so automatic, I don't know if I'd call it fun. But I like how it turned out and what I learned from it!

I start with an idea in my head and let it show up on the canvas usually. As I was drawing so many big pals, I remembered that the fun of the last piece was how crowded it was with different weirdos, so I resized and added here and there. I'm always a big fan of "playing where it lies" in terms of drawing, especially digitally. You can futz and mess with composition and lines and every little thing so much digitally, but the I like how quick the idea can come together. so I choose sometimes to leave em be!

Wow, this was so fun to watch! And I'm amazed at how you envisioned your complete concept right from the beginning -- there were no major moving parts. (Had you done a sketch beforehand, to help you plan the space?)
Is coloring the most fun part of it for you? It was exciting to see the colors pop up in different parts of the canvas -- the effect was truly dynamic at the end.
