Needless to say, I'm beyond excited that this release includes two creatures of which one is illustrated by Caitlin Hackett herself. Her wonderful blend of mysticism, fantasy and exceptionally artisanship never fails to amaze me - be sure to head over to her website if you want to see more of her work!
A drifting feeling, a familiar presence โ on the edge of harsh reality and fleeting phantasms, the soul of drowse and dreams lingers. Made of shifting darkness and starlight itself, it glances through the planesโ veils. Behind the curtains of the universe it waits, it ponders and it studies the fates of mortals. Those who are caught between wake and sleep spark its interest; those who doze gain its attention. It is said that the soul of drowse and dreams guards its chosen ones by sleeping curled up on top of them โ a cosmic blessing taking away the sorrows that ever-plague their worried minds.
