Hailing from primeval ages, the pompously bloated bubblewort has been thought to be extinct for the longest time. Ancient murals depict epic battles of repelling and ultimately defeating these still feared behemoths of the sky. Ironically, the pompously bloated bubblewort isn‘t evil-minded at all – it is just pretty hungry. The quite formidable plant has an insatiable appetite for anything made from wood or plant biomass in the broadest sense. While it prefers the lush taste of old-growth forests, it is likewise drawn to decently sized accumulations of cabins, huts or houses. Since no ecosystem – no matter how thriving it might be – is able outgrow the ravaging hunger of this peculiar plant for long, it floats from one meal to the other resetting each and every bit of biological competition back to the zero.
