7 Penultimate Ways to F-Off (6-26-2020)

Not letting Pinocchio go just yet, but I talked about it a bit on Twitter and felt the need to really put the nail in the coffin of this project called "Fuck-Off™." Not that I don't see myself ever doing a single panel strip again, but just not all the time/only that. Plus, giving it the title "Fuck-Off" had a different feeling and connotation back in the middle of 2019. Now, it's like "who really needs that?" I mean, loads of people should be told off, sure, but none of those people read my comic. It's vibing the wrong way for me.

Ultimately this is the problem/solution that Gunshow had when it first started as a 3-panel gag strip to flourishing into a multi-paged full color whatever-a-thon. I need that whatever-a-thon again even if it means doing a f-off-like strip once and awhile too. I have no need for labels that give me bad vibes. It was cute and stupid for a while and I'll probably collect all the F-Off's in their own book, but maybe next year. Would there even be time this year? I can't even go visit my parents for god's sake.

I have one more strip that puts a capper to this whole thing. But I spent the last two days churning these last handful out just to call it done. To call something done. So have these for now. And thank you for stickin' around, as always.

least we goin out with one last Boy. and his joy at the destruction of sentient robots. 🙏🏽🙏🏽 f-off was fun for a lil sunday comic strip parody tho!!

The F-Offs were always a blast! Thanks for the last hurrah.

it's mostly the superficial title that felt like it's giving off bad vibes. and posting a comic with the title during these rough times felt like it wouldn't help as much as I have liked it do. didnt have the impact I wanted it do when initially started is all! but thats always what i look for: liberating anarchic creativity. even tho that hardly gets publishers interested, it always made me feel better

I really love f-off. Very excited for another whatever-a-thon.

Gunshow and F-Off never gave me bad vibes. For me, it's always been anarchy at its most liberating. For me, it's anger, absurdity, humour, and guts. Peace! And thank you for those 7 great strips!
