It knows the words because it heard that guy, however that is not the reason he keeps repeating it. They never out right say why he does it but as you learn how his powers work you can recall this episode and be like "ahhhh that's why he repeated" it.

Like you said about no one being safe, I was scared when March was pulling out the arrows that she was going to like accidentally stab herself with it! Because I don't trust this show lol I also thought Parona wasn't going to survive that fall from the tower. But I should have remembered she fell from a cliff and survived.
