I am anime only so no spoiler: they knew they were in the car because they were following them from the time they left Hina’s apartment. You can see the truck on the freeway of episode 12 I believe. I bet Kiaski had somebody working in the police force (because all gangs know a crooked cop or 5) and they had Naoto called away.

2021-07-05 21:58:41 +0000 UTCYou have to remember when takeimitchy friend jumped off the roof, Kisaki was also on the roof when takeimitchy was talking about going back in time to save everyone. Thus leading to kisaki knowing about his time traveling. This is my theory and only one that would make sense, if you go back and watch it you’ll see that kisaki heard everything about him and what he’s doing
