Well I can see both sides honestly. I know Adonis has had issues with Deku forever pointing out how he cries like a bitch and stuff so I take his thoughts on him with a grain of salt. I will say they made Blackwhip look so much more powerful than it actually is during this arc. This story has always been the story of how Deku becomes the number one hero so it feels odd to me when people point out how much stronger than other characters he is. I do agree that he’s ahead of everyone in the series with being a true hero though,

2021-06-02 09:22:18 +0000 UTCMidoriya has had his quirk for less than a year, and can only reliably use 8% of it. He's at a school where people have had their quirks most of their lives. He's come as far as he has because he has struggled, and he does have the qualities of a hero. Anytime Bakugo or Shoto look as if they are behind him, it's because even though their quirks are powerful, they fundamentally lack certain heroic qualities. I'd say things are balanced nicely.
