Despite its arguably odd appearance, the rooting star is considered to be a radiant beacon of hope; a guiding light where eldritch horrors and eerie phantasms threat to devour all brightness. Although it usually lives up to that excellent reputation, the stellar being must not be treated with disrespect nor its kindness taken for granted. Its otherworldly motivation is hard to grasp and more than one passing rooting star ended up supporting the "wrong" faction or no one at all.
