what am it

hello. quiet around here. *looks around* whats going on here???????

Oh. Nothing much! The Graveyard Quest book came out and I feel a little underwhelmed. I'm ahead of updating work and wondering if comics is still something to pursue in my life. They certainly are the easiest and that's always a good factor when thinking about these things.

Then there are these animated videos I like doing. I finished the Game Grumps one, which will be shown in a month, and now I'm working on another one all day today. It'll be short and stupid. Exactly like Gunshow used to be. Which, I guess, is a good evolution for that type of humor I do. Short and dumb. Vine-length shit.

Then I guess you gotta work with YouTube to make any money off of those and it sounds exactly as much a nightmare as trying to do that with webcomics used to be. Like Late 2000's webcomics. Adsense and other banner ads for putting shit all over your website.

I'm getting off into a tangent. It's quiet here. That fills me with a kind of dread. What do I do NEXT. IMMEDIATELY NEXT. When something immediate isn't due, what do I even do? I guess I'll make another video of an idea I recorded while high again and see if that gets anywhere. Just spinning those wheels to see where they go.

you're my damn hero dude. don't put down your humor, hiagb is the cleverest world building in a webcomic since achewood.

Hey hey, I love your comics and they have affected me in the long term, JUST so you are aware. Been reading them since the HorribleVille comics. But like, I'm pretty sure that I will enjoy whatever you try your hand at, animations or whatever! And yeah, monotization sounds like a nightmare, I'm pretty early into the webcomic thing so I've been putting off figuring out that out. All the best with whatever venture you tackle for sure!

Hey! I don't have a whole lot of original shit to say or add to this, but just wanted to say that I deal with some similar shit these days, and I appreciate your putting this crap out here. Love your work, adds a lot to my life.

I probably don't have to tell you that doing whatever the hell you want is cool with us. Is GQ not selling well or something? I know I'm waiting until I can spend the extra money to get a drawing of some kind in it. Have fun, do whatever. Maybe get some fried chicken. You ever put honey on fried chicken? That cranks both the messiness and goodness up to a new level.

KC, your Gun Show story about the crab and the wedding at the beach gets me all misty no matter how many times I read it. And I blast my friends with links to other stuff you've done regularly because it's so poignant, hilarious, and/or fucked up. The shit you're doing is real. Keep making, because we're all picking up what you're throwing down!

The pinnochio series have made me laugh to tears at times due to their quaint and at times dry humor the irredeemable but in heart oh so kind pinnoch taking the grand prize.

Maybe Project Wonderful could help with ads on webcomics???
