This cave-dwelling tiny maggot-like critter is actually a recently hatched snifflewhiff. How the eggs of the snifflewhiff end up in the dark caves partially reaching down to the deepest chasms is still unclear. Experts assume this phenomenon might be caused by seasonal migration, the spreading by other species or just by chance, while eggs which aren’t exposed to appropriate conditions simply don’t develop. Slowly but steadily, the snifflewhiffling works its way up to more crowded places to find its favorite food: lies.
