At this point, you're mumbling into your cup of lukewarm green tea rather than holding a normal conversation with Ruby, but her breezy critique receives a mock glare from you. She smiles cheekily, encouraging you to continue by remaining receptive. "What would you have said?" you ask before adopting a more elegant cadence, a little pretentious. "Harlot? Slut?"
Your small grimace after saying the latter word earns Ruby's smile softening into something else that's acutely knowing. Yes, dirty talk isn't going well, so you came to her. She knows it.
