I'm glad that this pleasantly surprised you! I was thinking most readers would assume A could relay the invite, so J's version of it is almost like a surprise/bonus (well, it's earned by your choices, but still! 💚🥰) The dog shows up for sure on the JR route for some lore reasons, but we will have to see if she's a dinner guest for all of the paths. (It would be interesting to see how she fares with Huckleberry. 🦝) J's smile has a greater chance of coming out for their beloved; Everly is to thank for this. Also, this is something Judith can potentially remark on depending on what scene you unlocked with her in Chapter 7 of Book One (either one with S and their dye, one with J and their badge, or one with J smiling/a checkers burger. I think you as a J-mancer would like to read them all though. They're so cute!)

I love when habits/mannerisms/tells impart more depth to the characters and sometimes even hint at backstory. JR-mancers are in for some treats at seeing unique sides of J and R.

TBH, I had always just assumed the invite would always come from A, so I'm very excited to learn that we can get J to ask the MC! Is the dog coming as well btw? Since Mr. Corvin can comment on the name? 🤔 Also that J romance snippet: we get a WHOLE smile from J? A whole one?! 🥰 That just made my day! Thank you!
