I feel like I sometimes imply this when interacting with my readers. Some of you will notice that I use different colored hearts when talking heavily about a particular character. It's a little thing, so no worries if you just thought I was in a mood to trade out my usual green one. Sharing the colors I associate with them in my head might be fun, especially since I also use these colors as highlights when outlining sections of Book Two. They can help me keep track of all the threads.
B: Orange ๐งก

R: Black ๐ค
J: Green ๐
Mal: Red โค (That heart doesn't look red after I select it, hmm.)
JR: Purple ๐
Some of these happen to relate to the ROs' favorite colors, but that's a happy accident overall. :D

I agree with you! Blue has a calming and intellectual vibe that fits with S's personality; plus, the denim and their aesthetic. That is one of the aspects of the character portraits that I love! ๐ The signature colors and their meanings were fun to come up with. :D

Sparrow fighting with Mal would be epic; however, I think Mal would be okay with sharing the color as long as they have a more positive dynamic, hehe. From what I've learned of your MC, I always associate red/black with Sparrow, which means he will love Mal's motorcycle design. ๐

Let's see, I got Mal right bc of the jacket and the red flags and stop sign-comparisons, I got S right bc of the hair and the rings and bc he just has a "blue" vibe (it's, like, an intelligent color?). And that's my two favorites accounted for. The rest I think I noticed mostly due to the character portraits backgrounds. I gotta admit, I wouldn't have guessed about purple, though. I love that the characters have their own signature colors! It makes everyone extra unique

2023-04-13 13:03:44 +0000 UTCAha! I've been wondering about this for a while! I got B right! And Mal a bit ๐ค though I also saw R as Red too. But Black also fits! Got S right, along with J. Though sometimes they made me think of Blue ๐ค. I see Sparrow as Red or Black, definitely more Red so maybe Mal and Sparrow gotta fight if sharing ain't an option ๐ค๐คบ
